About the Role
Summit Genetics is looking to expand its team of plant technicians. Plant Technicians provide daily care of medical marijuana plants from planting to harvest, from harvest to drying, and processing the plants for shipment. Plant Technicians provide quality care and attention to the growing process of the plants from clone to harvest, which includes pruning, trimming, watering and providing nutrients. they also assist with harvesting the plants and processing the plants through the hanging, curing and packaging of the plants. Detailed recordkeeping and strict adherence to the company’s operating procedures and compliance with the state regulations is essential for this position.
8-10 hour shift
Availability to work both week days and weekend days
Shifts: Variable hours between 8am - 6pm
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
Placement and positioning of plants entering and exiting the environment.
Defoliation of plants according to a strict schedule.
Cleaning and constant monitoring of the environment and equipment in a designated work area.
Transitioning plants from the “veg” room to the flower rooms.
Tracking of all plants entering and leaving your work area.
Harvesting, transference of finished product to drying/curing area.
Must be able to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
Due to (Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority) laws and regulations all candidates must be 21 years of age, or older to be eligible for employment.

Must be willing to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screening (medical cannabis excluded)
Ability to cover hours of tardy or absent co-workers, at times, may be required
